Crew update brings Gold Star updates and new Reactions

by Adam Lickel, on March 31, 2020

First and foremost, we hope that you, your teams, and families are staying safe and healthy during these incredibly difficult times. To stay up to date on all of Crew’s resources for COVID-19, please visit our blog as well as our tutorial on Crew emergency communication best practices. We know that communication and connecting frontline teams is more important than ever; as such, so please reach out if we can be of any assistance.

While we work to bring you actionable content and support businesses in any way we can during this time of crisis, we are also working behind the scenes to keep improving the Crew app and making team communication as simple and efficient as possible. To that end, we wanted to let you know about some recent updates to the app:

Gold Stars in Command Center - For customers on Crew Enterprise, this will give admins the ability to compare recognition activity across the entire organization, manage how Gold Stars are distributed, and award Gold Stars directly from Command Center. These changes will roll out throughout Q2.
Compose Bar redesign - a cleaner and simpler design. Note: this feature is currently in limited release.

Reactions update - enjoy refreshed reactions that give you and your team a broader range of reactions, making it even easier for everyone to engage.

New metrics & better graphs - in order to help you understand how your team is using Crew, we’re adding new key metrics to Command Center. These new metrics will help you understand the success of your initial Crew deployment and will also assess frontline usage on an ongoing basis. er This is (also) rolling out gradually, so stay tuned.

Be sure to update your app to v7.9 in the Apple Store or on Google Play to access these latest improvements, and stay tuned for more enhancements to our solutions in the months to come.
