Crew Tips: How do I customize a Task on Crew?

by Jennifer Chou, on June 6, 2019

Welcome back to Crew Tips, a weekly series that gives you best practices and simple steps for making the most out of your Crew app, on both Android and iOS. Last week, we covered how to create a Task on Crew. This week, we’re diving into all of the different things you can do with a Task once it’s been created: let’s talk customization!

First, navigate to the existing Tasks you have outstanding. Tapping into the Task line item reveals the entire list of uncompleted tasks.

Select any task to view the Task Detail screen.

From here it can be turned into a repeating task. Simply tap on ‘Repeats’ to customize by setting the repetition interval, and starting and ending time. Don’t forget to save the pattern by clicking ‘Save’!

You have a number of other customization options from here:

  • Set a reminder for the task by tapping on the bell icon on the top right of the screen. Selecting this will send out a group reminder about the task.
  • Delete the task by tapping on the trash icon located on the top right of the screen, next to the bell ‘reminder’ icon.
  • Reward the assignee with a Gold Star once the task is completed.
