Welcome back to Crew Tips, a series that gives you best practices and simple steps for making the most out of your Crew app, on both [Android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.crewapp.android.crew&hl=en_US) and [iOS](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/crew-messaging-and-scheduling/id962124015?mt=8). In our last installment of Crew Tips, we went over [how to access Crew from the web](https://www.home.crewapp.com/post/crew-tips-how-do-i-access-crew-from-the-web).

This week, we’re digging into the details around our new integration with [Slack](https://slack.com/), which we announced as part of a round of big updates and improvements to Crew Enterprise. You can see a full rundown of those details on our [blog](https://www.home.crewapp.com/post/crew-enterprise-just-got-even-better) and our [product update webinar](https://www.home.crewapp.com/whats-new-feb-20).

Crew integrates with Slack to better connect frontline teams and office employees. Announcements can be sent ‘tops down’ from Slack into Crew, or teams can set up two-way messaging between Slack and Crew to better coordinate between frontline and home office teams. The Slack integration is available to organizations using [Crew Enterprise](https://www.home.crewapp.com/enterprise).

Once you’ve integrated Crew with Slack (get a step-by-step guide to setting this up [here](https://blog.crewapp.com/help/index.php/article/slack-integration-sync-slack-crew-enable-company-wide-communication/)), you have two options: You can choose between Broadcast for one-way announcements from Slack to Crew and Messages for two-messaging between Slack and Crew.

- Broadcast: Broadcast one-way messages to all of your frontline teams using Crew. Frontline team members will be able to react but not reply. Broadcast can be setup between a Slack channel and a set of Crew organizations.
- Messages: Sync a channel in Slack with a group conversation in Crew, allowing two-way collaboration between home office employees and the right folks in the field. Messages can be sent between a Slack channel and a group conversation in Crew.
